Dauenhauer Plumbing's founder Raymond C. Dauenhauer Sr. opened for business in March of 1958, serving the Louisville area with high-quality service plumbing for residential and commercial customers. In 1964, Mr. Dauenhauer's son Ray Dauenhauer Jr. joined the business and established the current company name: Dauenhauer and Son Plumbing and Piping, Inc.

Today, the company is locally owned and operated by Gary Thieneman and Chris LeBoeuf. The Dauenhauer tradition of top-quality workmanship, having the most talented workforce and performing work for the city's leading home builders and contractors make Dauenhauer and Son Plumbing and Piping, Inc. the leading plumbing contractor in the metro area. Our service department conducts business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, serving commercial clients as well as residential customers. Our new construction department is among the largest in the state, serving commercial contractors as well as Louisville's finest home builders.
